What are some of the best tools and techniques for job hunters these days?
I'm looking for more than just job boards, classifieds and networking techniques. I'm an experienced technical consultant looking for some clever new ways to get noticed by employers.

U can enroll your name on job classifides,On-line sites.U can serach jobs as per your requrements on web-sites like monster.com

Search websites of companies in your field and apply if appropriate. Some sites plainly state that the company is looking to hire. Search locally with the map feature. Put a resume up online somewhere so you can just give the url.
