what's a good words per minute?

Like say you wanted a job being a secretary, what would be a reasonable wpm score to be considered for employment.

My keyboarding teacher said that most firms look for at least 60-70 words a minute. But realistically, they would hire in the 50's.

to pass a basic typing class: 40 wpm. most word processing jobs: 70 wpm.
