How do I fix the clogged plumbing upstairs?

Help! Neither toilet upstairs will flush down and the shower drained slowly. When I ran hot water down the sink and plunged one of the toilets, nastiness clearly from the toilet from probably yesterday came up into the shower which has a loose drain cover. I keep plunging the toilet and plunging the shower, but I get some bubbles through and nothing else. Should I keep at it? Is this a pro job now?

As a construction superintendent, I highly recommend that you go get a plumber. This has gone from simple plugged line to affecting the entire sewer system of your house, so go get a plumber now.
