How do I excel my career?

I have been working as a HR administrator for 3 months. I have about 6 years of experience as administrative assistant. Since this is my first job in HR, I want to know how can I excel my career in HR field? I dont have any training specifically to perform HR duties. I am managing to work at my current position solely on the basis of my experience. What kind of training courses should I get into? Any certifications?
