The average amount of money made within a year/month for an automotive technician, either beginning and/or certified.

I started out making $6.00 flag hour 10 years ago. I now make $18.00 a flag hour. That's based on flat rate labor, being paid by the job. Depends on where you work For instance a European dealer will pay more than a domestic dealer, unless you have more experience. Also depends on your knowlege base. I started @ forty five thousand annually. I'm not sure if it's different where you are on the minimum wage. For me my minimum is some what a little high. Each state has different minimum. You got to shop around...
