For CDL Truck drivers, do they lift & move their own loads, or do dock workers do the lifting?

I don't mean the transporting; I'm specifically referring to the loading & unloading of the cargo. I have lifting restraints d/t back problems, & am considering truck driving for a job.

It depends on the company, the cargo, and the client. If you are a corporate trucker, typically the loading and unloading is done for you. If you don't want to lift or move your cargo, be a fleet trucker for a large corporation like Hospira, GE, or Honeywell, or even Walmart. They have people who do all that for you.
