Law schools graduate too many lawyers for the jobs out there. Your best course of action is to specialize in a branch of law that requires knowledge outside of what people learn in law school, such as patent law.

There are different types of law, it depends on what you want to focus on. Criminal law, divorce law, etc. If you are a caring person, you may want to be an advocate for women who have been abused, they really get screwed in the court system sometimes.
