What is the best way to get more people to hire me?

I started my own lawn-care service and I only have just one person right now....AND IT'S SUMMER! I put up signs, but it doesn't seem to be working. Could you help me out?

Advertise in your local newspaper, local advertiser paper, hang fliers in grocery stores, laundry matts, public buildings, at the post office. Advertise on your vehicles as well.

try going door-to-door. it may not seem to work, but it was best advertizing for me.

Ask your current customers to give your information to their friends. Word of mouth is a great tool in your business.

Do a special first time discount, with no obligation. If you do a good job, people will want you to come back.

Do a great job for the customer you have now and ask them to the word to their neighbors.

ads in papers, notices at senior centers, offer coupons. word of mouth, hit the neighbors up of the account, plus you can do the whole block in one shot.
