What is the liberal arts job market like?
I'm looking for a job in either communications or marketing anywhere in the US. I have no idea what exactly my opitions are within the job market for liberal arts. Can anyone help me?

I think your best bet for a good wage right now is to look toward one of the larger consulting firms. They are always trying to recruit fresh talent out of school. there is no such thing as a liberal arts job market. my advice, find something quick and stick with it. your lack of experience, marketing jobs will yield you door to door sales or those annoying people on the streets who ask you to participate in some survey. I assume you have a Bachelor's, this is good. Now you need training in a specific field. Either get a Master's in something that actually trains you to do a specific job, or intern in a field you want to make a career.

I didn't know that you could remain in liberal arts for more than 2 years of your college education. I thought you had to specialize by your junior year (pick a major, and maybe a minor).
