What can I do when I go to work and I am always working short staffed.?

I work for the airlines and I am forced to work so fast in order to get customers processed in time for their flight. I have talked to supervisors about it and they could care less and never offer help to employess, they just sit in their office and let us work our asses off. I understand this is a fast paced environment but we just don't have enough staff. I like the job but hate working like this Any advice. I am not sure HR will do anything.

The only thing I can think to do is to go WAY over your superiors' heads and complain to the CEO.

Take you time do the job right and if all the customers are not processed in time, your supervisors will hear from their Bosses. it is common practice in a lot of places to work their employees until they are no longer able to complete their task.

The industry is in the process of a major shakedown. There is a lot of pressure from the top to try to be profitable, at a time when costs are soaring. Could this be a good time to look for another job with another company? Best of success.
