How can i become a retail manager?
I wanted to know what i could do to enhance my chances of getting a job with management or front line supervisor, with a retail chain like Best Buy or Circuity city? have a lot of Customer Services related experience, as a rep and a supervisor. I think i could coordinate a group of people and be successful, my resume speaks for it. i also wanted to know if anyone know of any management training outside the actual retail chain, where i can get like a certification.

Just go on hotjobs and apply there. If you already have retail management experience, it shouldn't be hard. No need to apply from the bottom if you already got the background. Maybe those stores have a assistant manager position open. You can start there, or like a "shift supervisor" or "team leader" type positions... More
