Who would quit their job during 2wk notice with a guaranteed job?
So it is a reception position day shift versus current evenings and weekends medical records clerk. New job secured they are anxious to start training. I have to work a 12 hour shift on the this holiday and won't be able to enjoy my 2 year old daughter watching fireworks.

Depends on how strapped for cash you may be. There are a few factors that come into play. First is holiday pay, plus working the holiday. You already have another job and you don't need the referance so go for it your kid only gets fire works once a year and you'll feel like a good mom for giving her a mommy and me day.
