How does majoring in Information Technology.?

Benefit me in my current job function as a Customer Support Specialist. I deal with computers on a daily basis i.e internet, excel, word, email and thats about all. I need to know how Information Technology will increase my skills.

well, it does help to get a good perspective on IT. You learn a little more, and you can usually answer a question a little more in depth...but more importantly you can probably get a better higher paying job. Support and IT go hand in hand, regardless of what you're supporting, as long as it relates to computers... More
