I want to report automotive illigal repair charges, Where do I have to report to?

I Went to AAA Car Care Plus to have car fix for I had bad iddling when My car is iddling and they told me that they have to replace my heater hose charge me $174.00 for the part and $153.00 labor.

Sounds like a job for your local police. Or hire a lawyer or a P.I. private investigator.... but both of those will probably cost you more money than you already spent.

w*f? does an iddleing problem have to do with the heater hose that's a fuel / air mixture problem call the b.b.b. and maybe talk to an attorney.. they screwed you

I'd get ahold of the state Better Business Bureau and report it.

Go to your local Better Business Bureau, or download a form to fill out. If you go in person they only will give you a form. I used them several times and each time I got help. Make sure you have all invoices that you paid for these repairs, and call the BBB, is the vehicle still idling rough???

So what's illegal? Dealerships always charge more because of high overhead. However..for the sake of answering your question, most state motor vehicles departments have a section called "Dealer's and Repairs" or something similar. That would be the branch you'd want to lodge a complaint with.

did you sign a work order, or estimate form. always have them let you know how much before work performed. are you leaving out some major details?? I'd like to see invoice. sure it doesn't include complete cooling system service, flush radiator, new antifreeze, maybe thermostat changed. then with both heater hoses 6... More
