Okay, so say that you have been on a job for less then a year, and you are the underdog..... you suspect their may be mold in the carpet where you work, b/c you are allergic to it, and everyday you come to work your allgeries and sinus start acting up and you feel like Sh1t. You have told several people higher then you..including admistration. I am looking for another job , just doesn't seem to come fast enough?....... is this aganist health standards..... do I have a case here? sry for the spelling error!

Well, there is likely something in the office causing those allergic reactions. I would keep trying to press your case to management, particularly if you plan on working there for a few more months. do we work in the same place??? i just thought i was the only one thinking this same thing!!! let your HR department know or maintance. If they fail to check into the osha and make them aware of it. they will check into it if they think its a concern...good luck!!!

u have a good question, i think i would continue to talk to the higher ups, maybe the owner of the company, but try to stay until u find a new job. can u use allergy medication for work only, like keep it in ur desk or something, just make sure the allergy medication doesn't put u to sleep. maybe, put ur issues in... I would definitely see a medical doctor. You may be eligible for workers compensation. And if you have to leave due to the unhealthly work environnment, you may be entitled to unemployment compensation... More
