how much money does an entry level auto mechanic make in the southern USA?

i mean if he has gone to college and earned a degree in it. what about later on after a few years, or if anyone can direct me to a website explaining more in detail, i appreciate it.

Dealerships often hire entry level mechanics at 12 to 15 dollars per flat rate hour. Try not to accept a job just as a tire changer or helper, these jobs are for people without college training. it takes experience but you will start at the bottom wage scale, 10$ an hr or so and work up from there, there are good mechanics that make in excess of 70k a year. if your in the south become the best air conditioning tech you can, trust me as its made me alot of money
