how much money does an entry level auto mechanic make in the southern USA?
i mean if he has gone to college and earned a degree in it. what about later on after a few years, or if anyone can direct me to a website explaining more in detail, i appreciate it.

Dealerships often hire entry level mechanics at 12 to 15 dollars per flat rate hour. Try not to accept a job just as a tire changer or helper, these jobs are for people without college training. it takes experience but you will start at the bottom wage scale, 10$ an hr or so and work up from there, there are good mechanics that make in excess of 70k a year. if your in the south become the best air conditioning tech you can, trust me as its made me alot of money

Depends upon what mechanical field you enter. Auto dealers pay is commission based upon a factory flat rate. You can make zero to $200.00 per hour based upon your skills and ability to preform well w/o come-backs that you do over for free... More
