How does one go about finding a job with a felony conviction.?

I'm having a hard time finding a job even at tempoary agencies with my felony conviction. Is there any company in San Antonio Texas that hire ex felons? I'm having a hard time finding employment in San Antonio, Texas. I'm being honest and telling them of my felony convection on my job application. I can't even find work at tempoary agencies. My felony conviction was: possession of a controlled substance. I can understand not hireing me for certain jobs, but apperantly felons can not drive forklifts or pick up trash.

It is tough Bro, I went through the same thing. Agencies do not hire because of promising hire drug screens. Most felons go into construction because they normally don't care. Hang in there it is tough now, but it will get better, promise. Good Luck
