Is there alot of competition to become a casino dealer(AC, Las Vegas etc...)?

What is the best way to get started and what is the starting salary?

You have to go to dealer school. The casinos here in CT pay for that. A lot of employees who work on the floor don't make much and dealer is what many of them strive for. Pay is decent. there is a lot of competition. you need to go to a reputable dealer school. unless you know someone you will most likely start at a small casino and work your way up. i'm nt sure about starting pay but most of the dealers i knew (las vegas) were making upwards of 50k a year... More
