How do you get out set in tea stains in clothing, without dyeing over it?
I am not even sure dyeing over it will work to get an even color.

Sometimes just using your liquid dish soap as a pre-soak will loosen the tea stain otherwise try spray and wash and wash as ususal.

Try shout gel....you put it on and let it work for a day or two before you wash...I have gotten two year old baby formula stains out of clothes stored in a hot attic with it! I love it.

Try medicinal peroxide on just the stain, then wash with regular detergent. The experts recommend that treatment for yellow age spots on old linens, so might work for tea, as well.
