Does anyone know how to get compensated for taking care of your parents full time?

I'm currently living with my mother 24/7 and had to give up my job. I'm in the middle of a divorce. taking care of my elderly mother full time. I have no income and she can't afford to support me. Whadda sitch *sigh*

Get a doctor to assign a home health agency to case manage your parents. Get a social worker who can arrange for reimbursement from a state agency. start a claim for carers allowance with social and you will get paid

you need to establish power of attorney, then you can be the in charge of her estate of what ever dimensions and see if the thing has a value at the bank you can use for collateral and draw enough off it to get solid ground under you each month, for God sakes if she get dementia, move on it is something you need to...
