Irritating and downright weird.

In the past they have been the best Formula1 team by a country mile. Of late they have gone off thepace a bit, but witha bit more investment and a top-notch driver the F1 crown will once again be theirs for the taking.

I think they should get some one who has the most experience and that can do the job properly and that can help england to win not to lose all the time

If he was any good, he would given some decent ideas to Sven in the past, or taken Middlesbrough further up the table than 12th. He's definitely under El Tel's control, as why would anyone in their right mind change the formation like that? Lamp-lard is playing badly, as are other players, but he's too inflexible to change things around. Not impressed at all - but if we were going to pick an English manager then that's what you get, the option would have been Allardyce!

We need someone strong enough to not just keep on playing the players the media tell him too..
Lampard and Rooney and Giraffe boy currently do not deserve their places, there are people with better form at the moment, and the team is built around those three...we are doomed to failure until Mclaren gets brave

Unimaginative, no flair, no passion.
England as a team need sexing up with a bit of Latin passion and flair. We should have pushed harder for a decent foreign manager.

I think you need to give the man a chance. He has only been the manager for a short time. Though i think his main problem is his connection with Sven. He was too much involved in that team.
It might have been better to had a complete change and get somebody in that can motivate the obvioulsy good players that england have.
Venebles was a great manager i his day but his day is not now. They might have been better getting Sam Allardyce or Martin O'Neil. They, i think, would kick butt and get the players working better as a team.

Mclaren is OVERRATED! You think about what has he done as manager? Middlesbrough, one league cup and a UEFA cup final, not World Class at all, I don't know why the FA picked him for, I don't care if the England manager was English or not, I would rather have the right man, like Martin O'Neil or someone like that.

I think the current standard of performance says it all. It is more of the same that we had from SGE, boring, negative football. There is no real team spirit even though McClaren keeps trying to say that he is getting a club spirit. Rubbish! Even Venables looks miserable.
At the end of the day the FA messed up by announcing Scolari too early. After that every top overseas coach was put off and English coaches know the rubbish that goes with the job. McClaren best man for the job? Don't be ridiculous. Sad thing is, even he knows he wasn't first choice. Get rid of him now

England made the mistake of keeping part of the sven era on board,i cant believe for one minute that mclaren did not have a big influence on the squad when he was number two and im sure he never held back on his views with sven,if he did then how can he be top man when he wasnt doing a job at assistant to sven, the whole management team neede changing not just the top job.peter taylor is doing for your 21's and the rumours are he may not be in charge for much longer, madness even just the thought of letting him go.
