Is brainwashing to blame for hate groups?
Is brainwashing to blame for hate groups, are they just all people who cannot think on their own, or do these groups provide a medium where sick depraived people can find each other and do pathetic things in order to boost themselves up? weeareallbeaggars, I agree with what you said, I think you misunderstood, I do not hate these people but there are in fact sick and depraved people in the world who do pathetic THINGS they are not necessarily pathetic people, also brainwashing is a reality that does occur most often in people who are unable to think completely on their own, this is not entirely uncommon for any one of us as we all depend on other peoples opinions to some extent. I suppose as this is an issue close to my heart I came across as harsh when it was not my intent to do so, I am sorry if I insulted you or your beliefs.

I agree with a lot of what the previous posts have to say. My addition would be that people who hate others usually are angry people and/or are self-hating in some way.

Yes. We are not born with an instinct to hate. Hate is socially constructed. Brainwashing is when you stop to think for yourself and believe as truth what is told to you. By your parents or by a man on a pulpit, it's the same thing: emulation of thought instead of independent thought... More
