Does anyone agree with me, that Video games should be censored because of the extrme violence?

Let' face facts, In virtually all school shootings from Columbine to Dawson Univ. a month ago in Montreal, the shooters were all into Videos. The military uses them to desensitise the forces to make them better at their jobs. One company tries to make them of battles inIraq ASAP. Surely anyone in their right mind would have reservations at least.

I am totally agree with you but how can we change it ? It is a good business for them and they do not listen to us no matter how loud we shout. How can we change the fact that these video games are one of the reasons some young kids get crazy and do things? I am so sad about it and I am so worried about the future.What... More

I think that it is up to the parnts to determine if this is right or worng for your child. You raise your child to do what is right or wrong. Not the government.

Yes! Something needs to be done about video games. Children are playing these video games and seeing violence then think that violence is alright. They think death is not forever, and they don't realize the families they hurt. Video games should be fun and educational, not violent.

I agree with you, some games are very bad for anyone, some games would sell to more people if some stuff was not there,in action and in words, and parents can only keep kids away from those games only for so long

I completely disagree this is the whole Heavy Metal music is the cause for kids killing kids. If you ask me I think the real problem is that kids nowadays aren't disciplined as much as they used to get. Now I myself play video games and have been since i can remember but I am a average working man and I was disciplined... More

I can see certain violent simulation games being used for military purposes, but for civilian use there should be some limits. I have even heard of a video game called World Trade Center, Knock em Down. Isn't it obvious that not only are these games having an impact on vulnerable minds but also wouldn't be wise to have...
