If you've hired someone to arrange a piece of music for you, how did you decide who you hired to complete it?
I'm thinking about hiring someone to make an arrangement of a song for a piano and a tuba since I've been unable to find anything to meet my needs on sheetmusicplus.com but how would you even go about in finding someone who would do a good job at it anyway?

A local university or music school that teaches courses in orchestration, scoring or arrangement may be able to refer you to a student, professor or professional.
