What is the best way to get into a legal secretarial job even though I have no legal secretarial experience.?
Recently, I completed a legal secretarial course because I wanted to add depth to my career, however, despite having 15 years secretarial experience most of the legal secretarial jobs advertised are asking for experienced legal secretaries. Help.

Go and do some temping in the field you are looking to work in and then that will show that you have had some experience, you may also be able to say that you have had secretarial experience therefore are more than able to do the job in hand - hope this helps

Many people are hired everyday for positions they are not qualified for. Many of them have created resumes that are completely bogus. So, be a little more creative with your resume. get your cv out there! send letters to companies just asking for a chance - if no full time work you could always get a standard job in the meantime and offer to do voluntary work experience in your free time to get some experience. good luck

Apply for them anyway! I have a friend who applied for a job which specifically asked for no less than 2 years of B2B sales experience. just big ursel up and tell them that u have the skills and knowledge to do the job but u dont know everything.however u are willing to ask 4 help if needed and be part of the team.alternativly u cud sleep with the boss! hahaha
