What is the best liter to buy for your cat?

I heard clumping litter is not good because the kitty can digest it and get sick. Any suggestions as to what liter is good in terms of odor control, dust-free, and safe????

I use Arm and Hammer Crystal Blend. I have 3 cats, and there is NO odor at all in my apartment. It also is great because even the urine clumps up and is easy to scoop! I highly reccomend it!

Get "the world's best cat litter." It is ground corn/suprior clumping/biodegradable/flushable, etc. it really is the best. now it does cost a little bit more, but there is very little waste when scooping the box. just shake the scooper to let the clean grounds fall through. and w/ some hunting you may find a promotion... i use TIdy Cats, it's clumpable but if you don't use clumpable you're house/apartment will smell like cat urine. gross. Besides, my cats wait til the poop/p*e is on their crotch to lick it, not when it's in the litter.

You're only not supposed to use clumping litter when they're babies, according to the local cat rescue and vet. After 4 months it's fine. My vet said the best choice is unscented scoopable (clumping) litter, especially if your cats are picky.
