What exactly does a basketball manager do?

I signed up to manage my school's varsity basketball team, but I have no idea what to do. There are two other managers but they're experienced while I'm the rookie. So, what's the manager's job? All I know is that I have to keep the stats - points scored, rebounds, assists, etc. But what else?

You basically work and help with the team. You help them with drills, get the balls together, go to the games, etc. Don't sweat it, it's a lot of fun. I was also a manager a few years back, and I enjoyed it, and it wasn't even tough or anything.

A basketball manager goes to the team's practices and helps them with drills and stuff. A basketball manager also makes sure all the equipment gets put up in the right spot. The manager also goes to all the games and makes sure that the water bottles are filled with good clean water. Hope this helps any.
