How to get around, then master, ColdFusion, to get a job?

I have a job, but I want a better one. A job description reads: Job type: Full time ...ColdFusion Developer - CSS, HTML, JavaScript...Experience with JavaScript, CSS, HTML Pluses include...ColdFusion Developer - CSS I have not only been doing this for 10 years now, but I am also certified in Javascript, CSS, and HTML 4. Yet the job wants strong Coldfusion. Coldfusion is just another server architecture right? With 7 years building server client apps in ASP I hoped they would be leanient on the Coldfusion but they are not. Why is Coldfusion still around? How can I best master it so these kinds of jobs do not remain elusive? Is it worth learning when it is going to be extinct? Why would a company insist on finding a 2-4 year Coldfusion developer?
