I want to move from Ohio to Florida in the next year. How does one get employment in another state?

I just graduated from college and was thinking about just saving a couple thousand and just moving and getting a job when I get there. Has anyone made a big move to another state and have any advice to give? Cost of living will be a major factor!

Try that monsterdotcom web site or something similar. I moved last year to another state. Take a trip there to scout around for jobs, apts etc. Go online and google "apartment reviews" to find places to live (and more importantly places to stay away from!!). my friend moved from utah to florida. that's a HUGE move. she got a job before hand as a nanny and lived with them.
