What is considered an average education these days?

In my youth it was getting your high school diploma. Has that changed and what is the life outlook for the highschool drop outs we still see today?

An average education today is a high school diploma and at least 2 to 4 years in college. It really depends on what career the person wants to go into, but its very difficult at all these days to get any kind of stable career with no high school diploma...i dont even think mc donalds will accept fact most high...
