How long before the United States collapses?

It's only a matter of time. Massive debt, running out of energy, running out of water and jobs going overseas. The government is owned or controlled by mega corporations and the middle class is shrinking. How long will the US last before it collapses and what will the country look like afterwards?

We just need to slow our spending and we're in good shape. Other countries face the same problems but are less successful. Those are the countries that need to worry.

I give it about a year or two, if that. Boat is ready to sail, and passport is up to date so I am ready to escape to a safer place, like Mexico. Or anyplace that doesnt use Freedom as a barrier to Freedom or a banner of war.
