How many hours are in a part-time Job?

I was wondering how many hours are in a part-job per day, since I wanted to get a job. 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, 4 hours, 5 hours, 6 hours, 7 hours?

40 hours of work a week is considered full-time, anything less than that is part-time.

It depends on the company. When I worked for Wal-Mart I requested 15 hours per week as a part time employee. They told me 38 hours was part-time. I ended up quitting.

Well if you want to be technical about it, then lets back up a minute and define this term called " part-time", you see the ancient Mayans believed that part time means that you work or do something only part of the time.
