What is the best way for an executive to find a new job? Websites? Headhunter? Mass Mailing? Networking?
I want to find a job in a different region of the country. What is the best way to go about finding a high level COO, VP, or General Manager job when searching outside your region? The job boards like Monster and others don't seem to work well.

I think you should use a recruiting firm such as Robert Half (www.rhi.com). Professional staffing firms can do alot of the leg work for you so you don't have to spend time looking through postings, filling out applications, and sending in cover letters and resumes. Have you tried job websites like Hotjobs and Careerbuilder? You could also search for jobs on websites like Simply Hired and Indeed. Other websites like H3 or KarmaOne are job referral services, pay for referring suitable candidates for job vacancies.More information at http://tinyurl.com/emdyn
