When I started as a bookkeeper, I got $8 an hour with a raise to $8.50 after 90 days and I get a raise every 6 months for 5 yrs--its built into my contract. It all depends on your education and experience. You say you are inexperienced. There really is not much money for inexperienced people. Maybe $9.00 per hour to start. Experience and education might bring it up to $20.00 per hour with a good, strong background. And that is to start.
