Is looking for a job on the internet productive?

I was looking for a job though a job search company. I have been told these organization is not trust worthy.

I don't know if trust is really an issue, though in my experience the job boards don't yield terrific results. Recruiters who cold-call you also, typically, are not worth your time because they stumble across your resume from a keyword search and just want a warm body to fill a position in order to earn a commission... More
