Where would be the best place to live in/travel to outside the US for several months?

I'm thinking of teaching english in a foreign country for several months up to a year. There's tons available. I don't really care about the pay. I know this is a question of opinion, but I would love to hear them. Also, if you know of any great programs for living/ working/ volunteering abroad (I'm an adult with a BS in Education), I would appreciate it. Thanks!

I've had friends who loved teaching English in China, Australia and Africa. I enjoyed traveling throughout Europe because there are so many different cultures within a short distance. You can go to Asia (China, Thailand, Taiwan, etc...) to teach English... When I was there, they offered me a job to teach for the summer. :)
