Skin Problem?

Ive had eczema since i ve been born. I have had severe eczema for the last 3 years on and off, but never cleared up. The last 6 months or so, ive noticed that it might not be eczema, but a nasty habbit i cant get out of, i cant stop scratching....... Ive tried anti itch tablets etc but dont seem to work. Can it just be not getting out of the habbit of not breaking the scratch cycle. Have any of you had this problem. What did you do about it if you have had this problem. Should i see my doctor about it.

Aqueous cream may help relieve the need to itch by cooling the skin. Drink plenty of water and I advise you see your GP to rule out skin conditions such as impetigo.

yes as John M has said you should see your doctor , I have family with this problem ,and it´s even worse when you bleed with scratching . See your doctor as soon as you can & at least you will feel better and have a good night´s sleep
