How can i get a graduate engineering job or a computer aided designer?

I had graduated 5 years ago with a 2:2 in Mech Eng and have no experience. I was not able to apply for engineering jobs due to family commitments. I can start work now but have difficulty in succeeding with applications. I need

Try joining an agency, this might help. It may be easier to get contract jobs first rather than permanent.

if you mean a 2.2 GPA, then i would recommend going back to school and obtaining a 2nd degree, like something computer related. it'll be hard finding a good engineering job with a 2.2 GPA.

just like someone said above, i would suggest you take on some temp. jobs and build experience. A lot of times companies dont weight heavily on your grades. that is certainly something they look at to get you in the door, but ultimately it depends on how well you interview and what your experience is like.
