Where is the best place to move in California?

My buddy and I just turned twenty and are planning on moving from our crap town in Florida to California. I wanted to know what would be the best city to move to based on the following: low cost apartments, public transportation, good weather, nearby universities, available jobs, hot girls, and a happening night life. Thanks

San Diego is the best place in CA for that criteria. Housing is cheaper than the SF Bay Area and LA/Orange County. I pay $1375 for a 2 bedroom 8 blocks from the ocean in Pacific Beach, which is considered expensive, and you can get even cheaper rentals farther east in PB or in another part of San Diego. Sounds like u need the bay area but dont expect to find any low cost housing there. it fills all your other criteria
