How do you get a job on wall street? At a place such as the NYSE... What do you have to go to college for? Finance? Econ? Accounting? Also, do you have to go to a prestigious school like Wharton or what?

The NYSE employs lots of different types of people. The jobs range form Compliance and Enforcement to Floor Trader, auditor, operation/clearance specialists, etc. Most of the Floor Traders, though, are employed by brokerage firms like Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers, Goldman, etc or Specialist Firms that maintain...
