Can I help pro amnesty people understand what is really going on?

Here is the breakdown on what is going on.... Corporations support the government (ie...lobbyist)--- In return the government supports the corporations need for cheap labor (because the lobbyist have paid them off)--- Therefore...the government supports illegal immigration (so the lobbyist will be happy about the cheap labor and keep giving them $$). No one with money involved in this is pro amnesty because they love the people coming here....it is ONLY because it is driving down labor cost. It have no love for them...they only see them as dollar signs. Does that break it down simply enough for all you proamnsty....er..."people". (and I use that word loosely!!!) Ok fine...I apologize for calling them people and insulting them... I for one was a nanny/housekeeper when I was younger and in college...I made $500 a month + room and board.... yes all people in construction should make minimun wage.... I see that some people just do not understand the big picture... THE MORE PEOPLE WE HAVE IN A JOB MARKET THE LESS THAT MARKET WILL PAY. My brother works construction (he is a supervisor) and he has seen the wages go down. That's awesome...just what the American people need.

Do you mean things like Hilary Clinton used to be on the board for Walmart, until they suddenly got busted for hiring illegals (3 or 4 cases in Pennsylvania), and "coincidentally" all of a sudden her associations were severed... More

Um, giving people amnesty makes them citizens. Citizens are guaranteed a minimum wage and safe labor conditions (or at the very least they have legal recourse). Citizens don't have to worry about being deported and are thus freer to organize and fight for a better wage. These immigrants are our brothers and sisters in... More

I agree 100% with David S. I have no problem WHATSOEVER with your first 3 paragraphs. You made my point for me. It is the CORPORATIONS exploiting these people that should be vilified then, not the people who just want to work hard to have a better life. Are YOU "getting it" yet?

You've got it! And I can only compare the humanitarian liberals, who are aligning themselves with these labor exploitive capitalist, to the The Ginger Bread boy in that old folk tale. When the Fox got the Ginger Bread boy to the other side of the river: "And the little Ginger Bread boy never said anything more again."
