What jobs are in high demand for 2007?

iam a junior in high school and i really want to start knowing what i should be doing in the future. does anyone know the answer to this question? have actual, reliable, sources for your information please :) thanks for your advice! well does anyone know about CALIFORNIA in particular? whats needed here? haha these thigns are just so complicating.

You can't go wrong with nursing. I was told that in the state of michigan there will be a shortage of 5,000 nurses. The baby boomer generation makes up about 48% of the nursing workforce. Nurses and paramedics!!! I work in EMS, but some of my friends that work in nursing are always traveling to California because there is a HUGE shortage there.
