Is there a government program that pays for a disabled person's training in a job they are able to do?

There is a woman on disability. She wants to get training in a college for working with computers, because it is a job she can do, with her limited physical abilities.-------But she is on disability and doesn't want to risk losing the monthly check before she gets and completes training necessary to get a computer job (network administrator job, or tech support). Is there any such govt. program that will pay for her training for a new job that she is capable of doing with her disability? Will it pay, and still allow her to keep recieving her monthly disability check?----------------She had been a nurse, but suffered a couple of shattered vertebrae in her neck, and then soon after got cancer. The neck injury left her unable to perform nurse duties, even after treatment the Doctor said she couldn't work. The cancer treatment caused a good deal of nerve damage, also. This makes a driving job extremely unwise.
