How should Americans encourage the kind of immigrants who will invest in our least skilled Americans,?

and provide good paying jobs, rather than the kind of immigrants who merely invest in our least expensive real estate (which drives up the rent for those who can least afford it, thus contributing to overall poverty.) How do we encourage immigrants to employ people outside their own ethnic group. All the racial nonsense on yahoo questions and no one brings up immigrants who only hire other immigrants. If White people have to be Equal Opportunity employers, then its time we start holding immigrant entrepreneurs to the same standard. Illegal immigration from Mexico can't be helped, the border is too big. It's time we enforced the labor laws in this country! I understand the bilingual thing and all, but guess what, I'm bilingual, but they assume because I'm an American I must be lazy. And Americans are just as bad for hiring them and then hating them and saying 'deport them' after they get what they pay for. I'm not saying all rich Americans, but most have gotten too stingy!!!

Never happen; Jew hires Jew, Blacks hire Blacks, Asian hires Asian, Mexican hires Mexican and Whites are forced to hire them all but there is no AFFIRMATIVE ACTION for Whites. I think our boarders should be locked down and we should start pitchin' em back!

as long as they come legally i don't care how rich or poor they are. legal immigrants help pay into the system as we do.

I am not sure I agree with you. I just got back from eating at a Mexican restaurant with my friends tonight, and I saw three white women working there. Also 30% of businesses in Silicon Valley were established by Indian and Chinese immigrants. And personally, I would not agree with immigrants hiring immigrants only... More
