What book is the authoritative, balanced history of the Viet Nam conflict?

I just finished reading Fahrenbach's "This Kind of War" about the Korean conflict. I did a search for a similar book on the Viet Nam conflict, but I haven't found one yet. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Natsuga had good recommendations. I just wanted to tell you that "About Face" is an excellent book and gives you the perspective of the war from someone who fought in it. No Col. Hackworth doesnt pull any punches either about the mishandling of the war.
