How much should a cheap paint job run me?

I just got a White 94 Mustang, the previous owner had started to sand down most of the body in prep to re paint it. Well the roof is faded all over from the sanding and so is the bumper, and other parts of the car. So it looks like trash. The front fenders were replaced with something aftermarket so those are a light gray. This is my daily driver, it doesn't need to look pretty, but I don't want it looking like trash either. What should I expect to pay to get this repainted looking decent? I don't have much cash at all, but I really can't stand the look of it. I may just grab some rustoleum and spray paint over the bad parts myself. Just to give you an idea what I'm getting into

That's pretty ugly. I would get some rustoleum to get you by for a while. Get some 3/4 inch masking tape & newspaper to cover what you don't want paint on. Don't expect much shine or a good color match though.

A cheap paint job could run you as low as a couple hundred.... and then a couple hundred more in a two or three years when the cheap paint job is chipping off.

I think you can get a decent paint job for about 200 I do not recommend spray painting your car, it eont be even and will run and in turn look a lot worse than it does now. Just wait until you can afford a pro. It will be worth it.

Earl scheinb does a pretty good job for the money. Roughly around $300-400 paint job will last 3-4 years.
