How do you operate a trimmer/weedeater?
I just purchased a craftsman trimmer/weedeater and cannot figure out how to get it to do its job. I have the wire deals out however when i put it in postion to trim and edge my yard it does not nothing just hits the weeds but they dont even tear up whats up with that am i doing this wrong.

You have to use the throttle a weed eater should be ran at full throttle. If you are using plastic line also called string then it is for grass & it isn't very good for weeds. make sure u have the "wire deals" out to about 4 inches and go at them from the side so u cut the stem

Hi, Make sure the string is out plenty far enough. And also , Rev that puppy up and get it spinnin real fast so it will cut the weed's .You'd be amaized what you can tare down with those things.
