What are the Pros & Cons and which is the best to work for?

I'm getting job offers from Transamerica, Mutual of Omaha, Ameriprise, and Cornerstone America (HealthMarket). The Job position is Sales Rep/Financial Advisor. I'm new to the insurance (Life/Health/ect.) and financial planning industry so I need some insider information about these companies.

I wouldn't think of these as job offers. Don't be fooled that you will only be able to eat what you produce. Do some research into the market that you might want to focus on long-term and take the position with the company that will most closely match your interests so that you can learn. I agree. None of these are job offers. These are job scams. These companies turn agents over more often than I shower, and I shower twice a day!! Look for financially stable, well-known companies if you want to make money. And for goodness' sakes - don't hang your hat on life/health!!!!!!!!! Get a P/C license!

So far what you are looking at is solving for one problem- lack of insurance or under insured.
