How do i make my hair more textured??

ok i have really wavy, thick, poofy, frizzy, YUCKY hair. but when i straighten it, (which is only once in a while cuz it takes so long), it looks perfect! what i want to know is it there is a creme/wax/gel/hair product that will make my hair more textured when it is straight but not make it frizzy or mess up the flat iron job and make it curly again. my price range is below $15 per container and i live in the arcadia/pasadena reigon in California. plz tell me what product 2 use, where to get it and what the cost is. pls i need help!

Pantenes new texture line works really well. I use the wax/gel product, and it works great and reduces frizzyness. If your willing to get your hair cut, try choppy layers; it adds alot of texture. Good luck :)

I swear by pantene smooth and sleek, and use a heat protectant like thermasilk, thermasilk has a really good leave in cream that works great, and pantene is like $4 a bottle and thermasilk is around the same.
