How many know of a senior citizen who has experienced age discrimination?

I, only months ago, experienced age discrimination by a large retailer. The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has adopted specific guidelines to protect employees and job applicants against age discrimination. "Age" discrmination is in the company of other criteria which, if used in whole or part to make a decision to reject an applicant from a job and/or promotion, (race, creed, national origin, color, sexual orientation, gender, health, and/or appearance) are grounds for filing complaints with the EEOC. I believe my case is not unique. I am soon to be 65; in excellent mental and physical health. I say this because many jobs require lifting up to predetermined weights and other physical criteria such as climbing ladders, stooping, standing for long periods, etc. This is the only reason for rejection that requires no comparison to other candidates or by qualifiaction from work experience and history, background check and drug testing. Please tell me your story?
